West Belfast actor Anthony Boyle wins Olivier Award for Harry Potter role

He received the award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his performance of Draco Malfoy’s lookalike son Scorpius in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

West Belfast actor Anthony Boyle has won an Olivier Award for his role in the Harry Potter stage play.

The Poleglass performer has been playing Draco Malfoy’s lookalike son Scorpius in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on London’s West End.

And on Sunday night the 22-year-old was received the award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his portrayal.

Hosted by comedian Jason Manford, the annual ceremony will be broadcast across the globe, following the event on Sunday at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
