Reading and searching

The supplied website code does not use analytics scripts, advertising trackers, forms, accounts or browser storage. Search runs in your browser using a small file containing the journal’s story index. A search query is not submitted to a search service.

Hosting and outside links

The hosting provider may process routine request data, such as an IP address, for delivery, access control and security. Private preview hosting can require sign-in under its provider’s policies. Links to the Internet Archive and other organizations open outside this website and are subject to their own privacy practices.

Copying a story link

The copy-link button asks your browser to put the current address on your clipboard. It does not read the contents of your clipboard. If clipboard access is unavailable, the address is displayed for you to copy manually.
